The Board of Trustees is a body with honorary functions at the Foundation. The position of a trustee (member of the Board of Trustees) is voluntary and is offered to the chosen person by the Board of Directors of the Foundation. The position is affirmed upon the trustee's acceptance of the offer. The position of a trustee is honorary and is offered to the chosen person as a recognition of, and respect for, their professional and personal qualities and achievements. The Foundation calls upon the members of the Board of Trustees for expertise and professional opinion regarding various aspects of its activities or strategic actions.

It takes just a conversation with Apostol, and one quickly realizes what makes this recipe an achievable endeavor: enthusiasm and vision. Dr Ivelina Radilova
Our connection to the land, and Nature as a whole, is ever more endangered. But it is so essential for the good of humankind. The mission of Botanica Life Foundation, with the project in the village of Nadarevo, is to restore and nourish this connection, to reveal, promote and develop it. Although my profession is closely related to Nature, and although gardening is an important part of my personal life (or perhaps because of that), working on the permaculture farming project in Nadarevo, has been, and continues to be, an enriching and exiting experience for me. It is an experience which continuously brings unexpected and amazing discoveries, and connects me to good people with a good cause.
Ivelina Radilova holds a PhD in Protection of Park Vegetation, and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture. She has worked as a Director of the Botanical Garden "The Palace" in the town of Balchik, and as a senior expert in landscaping for the Municipality of Dobrich, Bulgaria.

Having visited Nadarevo, the site for the training centre, it was clear that this is exactly the right kind of project in the right place at the right time, run by the right people. It is not an easy location, but that is exactly why it is worthwhile. I have visited and evaluated many projects for young people, around the world, for the UN, EU, US & UK and other governments, and many fail. But Botanica seems to have the right balance of providing valuable future-orientated training, while also making productive demands of the participants. This will value the young people as individuals, and should set them on the path to making sustainable contributions to the development of the region. I am looking forward to following and supporting the project.

I stand behind Botanica Life’s cause because I think that young people in Bulgaria need support in order to develop their entrepreneurial spirit. I believe that there is a great potential in agriculture, especially in sustainable agriculture, and young people need to know this and make use of it. It makes sense to take care of the land that we all depend on. I am happy that there are people in Bulgaria, such as the team of Botanica Life, who work for such an important cause with real devotion and selflessness.

The team of Botanica Life Foundation respects Earth. With them, fruits and vegetables grow happily and are cared for with lots of love. They organise courses on ecology, herbs, and sustainable gardening. There are also activities for children and young people with special needs. All these wonderful initiatives captured my heart.
