Volunteers at the Center for Inclusive Education in Sofia, visited our gardens in the village of Nadarevo. During the visit we exchanged experience between students of pedagogy from Sofia University and the team of Botanica Life Foundation. The young specialists sowed seeds in the garden, got acquainted with the different vegetables we grow, tasted the fragrant tea made from freshly picked herbs, and immersed themselves in the tranquility of Bulgarian village life.

During their stay, they were able to “connect” with the soil, feel its needs and think about what they could do towards sustainability - how to limit their personal waste, compost the organic waste and, most of all, sow the seeds of knowledge and kindness among the coming generations.

The meeting was extremely fruitful and marked the beginning of a cooperation between the two organizations working with children and young people in their quest for providing better educational practices and approaches.

We wish the Center for Inclusive Education and all volunteers dedicated to the most responsible profession - to teach the children of Bulgaria - success and good luck!
