Great fun with little nature lovers

Children from two kindergartens, “Snezhanka” (Snowhite) in Targovishte and “Zdravets” (Garanium) in Popovo, visited the gardens of the Botanica Life Foundation in the village of Nadarevo. We took them for a walk around the vegetable garden and showed them the variety of plants that are there. The kids helped the seedlings discover how they can grow and get big. The seeds were put in the ground and watered by the busy youngsters. Under the warm rays of the sun the small beans and onions were given a start for a new life and development.
First we met the future first-graders from “Snezhanka”. Along with the other activities they have measured strengths in pulling a rope. After a very competitive game the victory went to team "Carrot" which prevailed over team "Tomatoes". The children showed a true sportsmanship and after the game they all got together for a healthy and tasty tea made from herbs picked in our garden.
On the next day we welcomed the children from kindergarten "Zdravets". As real young discoverers, they walked the long and exiting road to the lake, where they found their prize - the beautiful water lily that blossomed especially for them. They got acquainted with the small tadpoles, the natural inhabitants of the lake, and learned how to recognize which are the friendly bugs and which ones they would better keep away.
We wish all children a carefree and cheerful summer filled with many games and adventures and we look forward to their next visits. We thank their teachers and principals for the care and their commitment to teach the children to be responsible for themselves and for the world around them.
