Last week our training centre in Nadarevo was visited by a group of children with special needs from the “Center for health and social services” in the town of Targovishte. We have invited them to spend time in our garden because we know of the positive impact of therapeutic horticulture on motor and psycho-emotional development. 

We told the children about the little seeds from which the big plants grow. We planted onions together, which the kids watered with lots of care. We showed them the vegetables in the garden – carrots, cucumbers, beetroot, tomatoes, sweetcorn, and many others. We talked about “What grows where?” - on the tree, above the ground or underground.
