One new partnership

28.12.2017

With the help of our partners from the Velux Foundations, we met with Ewa and Peter Stratenwerth from Ziarno Association, Poland. They run an organic farm for the production of bread and cheese, and they organise the so-called folk high school in the village of Grzybow.

Together with Ziarno Association we set up a consortiums of 7 organisations and institutions, with whom, in the next 3 years, we will develop training programmes in sustainable agriculture for young people with low levels of literacy and numeracy who could improve their life skills and could find professional realisation in the field of organic agriculture. We will also run training courses for teachers/trainers who will apply the method of the Danish scientist and philosopher N. F. S. Grundtvig for teaching through the system of folk high schools.

In the consortium, we will also work with the University for Sustainable Development (Germany), The Institute of Biodynamic Farming (Switzerland), Brenderup Folk High school (Denmark), Adamow Municipality (Poland), and Folk High School in Zlotow (Poland).

We thank Ewa and Peter Stratenwerth for their warm hospitality at their farm. In April 2018 we will be visiting our Danish partners, while in August 2018 we will be hosting the third partnership meeting at the grounds of Botanica Life Foundation in the village of Nadarevo, Bulgaria.

Our partnership and collaboration is possible thanks to the ERASMUS + programme.
