Oxford Real Farming Conference
13.01.2023
For fourteen years, the Oxford Real Farming Conference has been taking place in the town of Oxford (UK). The conference deals with topics connected to agroecology on all levels – from home gardening, through the challenges of big farmers, to policies in sustainable agriculture. The conference is the largest world forum in this field, this year bringing together over 4000 delegates from around the world. The event took place in the period 4-6 January 2023. Participation was possible across four venues in the university town and online. Among the delegates who followed the presentations online this year was also Apostol Apostolov, founder of Botanica Life Foundation. He participated in several panels with topics, such as no dig gardening, the role of insects and invertebrates in the garden, and the role of philanthropy for catalysing change in the agroecology sector.
