In the period 14-18 September 2022, Bulgaria hosted the World Cup on Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO). Botanica Life Foundation was pleased to welcome the MTBO team Austria. We provided food and accommodation at Guest House “Botanica”, but we also became good friends and had lovely discussions on topics, such as cycling, sports, sustainability, etc. Members of the team visited our gardens where we picked vegetables together for the kitchen.
We are honoured that our guests won one gold and several silver medals in the race. What an achievement it is! We congratulate them warmly on this success and look forward to seeing them again!

At the same time, we welcomed cyclists from Plateau Cycling, who also stayed at Botanica “Guest House”. We enjoyed their company enormously and had interesting discussions about matters in the United Kingdom and Switzerland – where two of the cyclists were coming from. We discussed some ideas for future collaboration with the leader of the group – Deyan Kateliev – and we hope there will be other opportunities to meet again. We wish Plateau Cycling many more rides in our region, and they are more than welcome to stop by again.
