You should meet Hauteclaire and Bastien. They are two French people who love Nature and animals and who have set on a tour around Europe to meet other people who share their passion. Three hundred and sixty-five days around Europe! This is the title of their initiative. They have dedicated one year of their lives in order to visit interesting and inspiring places on the Continent, where they hope to meet interesting and inspiring people.

They have travelled thousands of kilometers in their converted van and they have visited over 30 places and farms in Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Republic of Northern Macedonia, Norway, Sweden and other countries. And, on 9thDecember 2021, they visited Botanica Life Foundation in the village of Nadarevo. It was our pleasure to welcome them and to talk to them about the purpose of their journey. We found out that, actually, their journey was set to finish with the creation of their own farm, of which they were dreaming. A farm, in which people and animals would live in harmony, respecting natural resources. We talked a lot about animals and their role in contemporary agriculture. Hauteclaire and Bastien strongly believe that animals can play a crucial role in maintaining natural balance and regenerating barren land and other terrains.

We showed them some of our gardens and told them about our efforts to promote sustainable agriculture. In the evening, we prepared for them a salad with vegetables grown in our gardens, while in the morning we served them pancakes with homemade jam. Their next stop, after Bulgaria, is Poland.

We wish them a safe ongoing journey, and we look forward to learning about their own farm in France, when it becomes a fact.
